High-level Academic Symposium in Memory of the 150thAnniversary of the Founding of Tengchow College
------ Tumor Immunology International Symposium
“Tumor Immunology International Symposium” is one of the series of high-level academic symposiums in memory of the 150thanniversary of the founding of Tengchow College. Established in 1864, Tengchow College where its medical program originated was the predecessor of Cheeloo University and signified the beginning of modern Chinese higher education. Through the symposium, Shandong University School of Medicine aims to strengthen its international cooperation, enhance its research level in related fields, promote its international and domestic influence, and expand our students’ interest and understanding on immunology. The symposium is composed of two parts: Tumor Immunology Seminar and Immunology Science Lecture. The former was held on both 17thOctober and 18thOctober, 2014, while the latter was held on 18thOctober, 2014. The Immunology Science Lecture focuses mainly on the ebola virus epidemic and daily life to explain the importance of immunology to today’s life, health and disease control and prevention.
